Description
The Detroit is the compact commuter in Vista's line, built around a three-section nickel-finish metal shaft and a fibreglass-and-aluminium frame that has been reworked with solid rivets at the joints — the place a folding umbrella normally begins to loosen after a season of use.
Press once to open, press again to close: the mechanism does the work in both directions, which matters when you are getting into a car with a coffee in the other hand. Closed, it is a shade over eleven inches.
