The Rover Pack Mini takes Topo Designs' best-known silhouette and shrinks it to something you can wear all day without noticing. At 10 litres it is a genuinely small pack — a book, a 13-inch laptop, a water bottle and the day's odds and ends — cut in the same recycled nylon pack cloth and the same buckled flap-top shape as the full-size Rover that Topo has been building since 2008.
It is the pack we point people to when the big daypack is overkill: campus days with one class, city wandering, a bike ride to the coffee shop, a kid old enough to want the grown-up bag. Seven colourways run from the muted Oil Green and Bone White pairings to Topo's louder two-tone blocking, and every one is made in Vietnam to the same standard as the rest of the line.
