The Mountain Waist Pack is the smallest thing Topo Designs makes in the Mountain line, and the piece most likely to leave the house on its own. One liter of recycled ripstop is room for a phone, keys, a wallet and a bar — and not room enough to tempt you into hauling anything more.
The colorblocking is where it earns its keep. Three combinations drawn from the same palette as the rest of the Mountain collection, so it reads as a considered piece rather than an afterthought clipped onto a bigger pack. Four ounces on the hip, and you are gone.
