The Sapling is the pack you reach for when the walk is longer than a toddler's legs will manage. Thule built it around the child rather than the parent: the seat supports the whole leg, so a child who normally starts squirming after twenty minutes can settle in for a full afternoon on the trail.

It suits parents who hike, travel and cover ground in the city with a small passenger along. The harness adjusts through the torso and hips, so one carrier fits both parents and swaps over without a fuss, and the seat lifts out and goes in the machine after the inevitable sticky day.
