Flying with a bike is a calculated risk, and the RoundTrip Transition removes most of it. A tough ABS shell over an aluminum base rail takes the impacts that baggage handling hands out, and it is sized for most road, mountain and cyclocross frames, with thru axle adapters for 15 mm and 20 mm axles in the box.
What separates it from a plain hard case is the stand built into it. You pack the bike over the stand at home, and at the far end the same stand becomes a work bench for reassembly, so you are not rebuilding a drivetrain on a hotel room floor. Nylon wheel bags keep the wheels off the frame in transit, and integrated wheels move the loaded case across a terminal.
