Boards travel badly when they are loose. This bag holds one up to 165 cm with boots, in a padded, cinch-top sleeve that keeps the base and edges away from whatever else is in the hold with it.
The space around the board is the sensible place for outerwear, which adds padding and frees up room elsewhere, and the internal straps stop the load shifting on the way. The zip runs the length of the bag so loading is a matter of laying gear in, and there is a mesh pocket for the tools and small parts that otherwise disappear.
