Gym-bag proportions with expedition manners. At 30 liters the Chasm takes a weekend's clothes or a change of kit and boots for the trailhead, and when both hands are needed it goes on the back instead of over the shoulder.

The recycled 900D shell and laminated tarpaulin fabric are meant to be treated badly: wet gravel, roof-box grit, the floor of a van. Nothing about it asks to be looked after, which is the point of a bag this size.
