Four litres more than the Skarab 18, and they are the four that matter on a longer day: a second layer, a proper lunch, the camera you would otherwise leave behind. The included 2.5-litre Hydraulics LT reservoir means you are not stopping to dig out a bottle either.

Compression straps double as trekking pole capture, and a scratch-free slash pocket at the top of the backpanel takes sunglasses without grinding them. Simple, bucket-loading, and light enough to forget. Offered here in Black.
