Description

The Sunny is the pared-back version of J World's Sunrise: the same idea of a bag that rolls when the ground is smooth and goes on your back when it isn't, at a friendlier price. It is a light 28.4 litres, 17 x 12 x 8.5 inches, in water-resistant ripstop polyester with reinforced edges and a rubber base for the corners that take the abuse.

Straps pull out of a back pocket when stairs or gravel appear and tuck away again when they don't, and a single-tube aluminium handle raises to two heights so a taller student isn't stooping. Large rubber wheels sit at the corners, which keeps it steady on a sidewalk and narrow enough for an airplane aisle, and the whole thing weighs 3.5 lbs. Online exclusive, shipped direct.
