The Recruit strips the daily commute back to what actually gets used. A dual-zip main compartment opens wide instead of making you dig, a padded sleeve takes a 16-inch laptop, and the internal organiser stops small things migrating to the bottom. One side pocket handles a water bottle; the other has a stretch cord for a U-lock.
Padded mesh shoulder straps and back panel keep it breathable on a long carry, and a travel pass-through drops it over a rolling suitcase handle when the commute turns into a trip.
